I have a mazda protege5 with quite a few miles, she has been loyal. Recently the dash lights (milage,speedometer,ac nobs, etc) stop lighting. I checked the fuse and they all look fine. Any suggestions.

Well it sounds like you could have a bad headlight combination switch or body control module is acting up. Now if you have a digital multi meter we can do some testing to see which it is. Let me know what you want to do. Thanks.
