2003 Mazda Protege Car is dead

I just put in a brand new battery and the car lights dont turn on, the radio doesnt work, even the power locks dont work with the remote. What could be wrong?

Hi there,

The battery is charged? terminals are clean and tight? You have not installed back to front? Check for blown main engine fuse and ecu fuse.

I would agree, I think that you may have blown the main fuse. If you hooked up or boosted the car incorrectly you may have blown the main fuse. In your case you have to be careful...The main fuse is held in with two 10mm head bolts that are acessed from the side of the fuse box.
