Brakes problem
2003 Mazda Protege Two Wheel Drive Automatic 45,000 miles
----------------------------------------------------------------
This past week I replaced the front brakes. After replacing the brakes I pumped the brakes several times before starting the vehicle. After starting the vehicle I pumped the brakes several more times. Now when I drive the car and I press the brake pedal I have to push it a lot farther in order to stop the car. Do the brakes need to be adjusted? If so, how do I do this?
Thanks!

try bleeding the brakes, if the brake fluid got low air may have gotten into the line. Another thing is that one of the callipers could be hanging up {sticking}.
