2002 Mazda Protege No pressure in cyl no2 oil inside

2002 Mazda Protege 4 cyl Front Wheel Drive 160000 miles

I have no preassure in cyl no 2 and its full of oil, is it piston rings or valve problems? thanking u in advance Ruben

Hi there,

This could well be a cracked piston or broken rings, a leak down test will tell you if its rings/piston or valves, but with the oil in the cylinder more than likely rings/piston.
