Air Conditioning problem
2002 Mazda Protege 4 cyl Front Wheel Drive Automatic
----------------------------------------------------------------
HI,
MY AC COMPRESSOR SEIZED UP AND SNAPPED THE BELT THAT ALSO RUNS MY POWER STEERING. IS THERE A BYPASS PULLEY AVAILABLE FOR THIS CAR SO THAT I CAN HAVE MY POWER STEERING BACK WITHOUT BUYING A NEW COMPRESSOR? IS THERE SOME OTHER WAY TO GET MY POWER STEERING WORKING? CAN I DAMAGE ANYTHING ELSE BY DRIVING WITHOUT POWER STEERING? THANKS FOR YOUR HELP.

Just buy a non a\c belt for your car....cause your engine in other mazdas some don't have a/c option...it's just a shorter belt that should fix your problem...

In the future please don't tag onto someone else's 4 year old question. Simply start a new one of your own.
