Engine Performance problem
2001 Mazda Protege 4 cyl Two Wheel Drive Automatic

My car was placed on an analyzer and the reading came back as a multiple cylinder misfire.

What could cause this problem? And how would I fix this. Could it be the coil, egr, MAS.

When the car is idling the motor is rough when you give it some gas she smooths out.

a misfire can be cause by many things, a struck egr, a vacuum leak , intake manifold leak, bad plugs ,wires, injectors. so you will need to check each and every one of these, also, yes, the mass airflow sensor, dirty airfilter, and a plugged catalytic converter
