My A/C is not working and the auto shop told me that they needed to replace the compressor clutch but they suggested we buy the complete compressor and clutch instead of just the clutch. Why couldn't we just replace the clutch if that is the problem?

Hi bthurman,

If there is nothing wrong with the compressor, just replace the clutch. But is it the clutch or coil?
