I get misfire on 1 cylinder, recently #2. Started 2 years ago. Replaced plugs, problem solved, for awhile. Replaced coils, problem solved, for a whole year. Code 302 returned. Replaced cables, not fixed. Replaced plugs, problem solved, for a week. Checked plugs, wiggled cables, problem solved.
In other words, there is a misfire on a single cylinder. Problem never goes away by itself. Problem can be solved, for a while, by removing and reinstalling plugs, cables, coils.
Thoughts: The problem started some time after timing belt was replaced. Probably not related.
Could there be an intermittent bad connection on the low voltage side of the ignition? Need to investigate, but not sure how since it's intermittent.
I'm tired of throwing parts at this. Any thoughts.
