1999 Mazda Protege How to install clutch

I was wanting to know if I had to drop the engine to install a new clutch or is there a easier way.

You need to drop the transmission only, see text for basic instructions.

Hi there, About 5 Hrs in a fully equipped work shop with a hoist, on the ground with jacks and stands ti may take a few more.
