My fan had only been working on 3 for several months if you turned it to for it went off.then it quit working all together a week ago.I have replaced the blower motor resistor with one from a junkyard and it still does not work.is there another fuse or something I may have missed. Is there a way to straight wire around the resistor to check if that is the problem?Did I just get a bad part maybe?

thanks

if the resistor was at fault then the high setting would actually be the one that works and the other settings would not so i would not be looking at a bad resistor. may want to check the control panel , ensure wiring is good.
