Crankshaft Position Sensor

Where in this particukar model is the sensor located and how would you recommend replacing?

What needs to be removed etc?

Fairly simpl located on front engine just remove and replace

Replacement
1. Remove the undercover.
2. Remove the crankshaft position sensor.
3. Install in the reverse order of removal.

Tightening torque:
7.9-10.7 N.m (70-95.4 in-lb)

My Crankshaft positioning sensor went out on my Mazda I have the part, I just need to know where the part is located and how I fix it.

The CPS is on front of the engine

Hi there,

It is located on the front of the engine, now Mitchell 1 dose not give any details, but most of these sensors will be under the lower cam belt cover, it will be attached by a 10mm bolt (normally) and the loom will unplug.
