1994 Mazda Protege car stereo memory

I having trouble finding the battery wire for tha audio. Both the ignition wire and the battery wire o from the car stereo are connected to the cars ignition wire. So every time I shut off the car, The stereo loses its memory.

have you checked the fuses
u need to do so as a 1st step
