I HEAR A TAPPING SOUND IN MY VALVE TRAIN WHAT COULD BE THE PROBLEM ONE THING I DID DO IS CHANGE THE TIMING THEN THE TAPPING SOUND STARTED IT WAST MAKING THAT SOUND BEFORE I CHANGE THE TIMING WITH OUT A TIMING LITE

Use an inductive timing light and reset the ignition timing to specs if the tapping continues could be the hydraulic lash adjusters worned or damage. Also might want to do an oil pressure check
