I put in two new sensors for temps. Still idles high after it get how. Then at stops idles high and when you put your foot on the gas to hard to will cut out. Sometimes it starts and sometimes it gos. But it cuts out a lot. It got coded at a a very good shop(it was free) the code read 09 something like that. Which told us its the both temp. Sensor, and replaced them new. Any more Ideas? They want a lot to have your codes read for you. I am waiting a a guy who has worked on cars and has a new code read for both I and II. He is on vaction. He cheap. Half the price then shops or lesser.
The other thing is it does get gasy smell a lot. Anyother things you can come up with until he comes back which can be weeks.

Hi emmyrufus,

Thank you for the donation.

For pre OBD-II models, code retrival can be done manually but for this model, it is not shown in our manual.

If you have a LED light that can operate on 12 volt or an analog volmeter, you can give this a try.

Above diagram sow the DLC. Connect the red (+) probe of the volmeter to the TEN terminal and the black (-) to the GND terminal.

Turn ignition switch ON and see if the voltmeter needle swings. If yes, count the swings as if they are flashes and let me know what it says.

Code 9 = Coolant Thermosensor.
It could be a fault with the sensor, its wiring circuit or ECU.
