For pre OBD-II models, code retrival can be done manually but for this model, it is not shown in our manual.
If you have a LED light that can operate on 12 volt or an analog volmeter, you can give this a try.
Above diagram sow the DLC. Connect the red (+) probe of the volmeter to the TEN terminal and the black (-) to the GND terminal.
Turn ignition switch ON and see if the voltmeter needle swings. If yes, count the swings as if they are flashes and let me know what it says.
Code 9 = Coolant Thermosensor.
It could be a fault with the sensor, its wiring circuit or ECU.
