Speedometer Lights

I have a 97 Mazada Mellenia. It has 122,000 miles on an automatic transmission. For some reason the light sfor the speedometer and gears have gone out. I have believe have have inspected all the fuses. What can be the problem?

Probably just the bulbs are blown in the dash that illumniate your gauges.
