Hello, I have a 2001 Mazda Tribute V6 ES, with 69,000 miles. After driving for a while on a full stop or if the car is in park the Oil light begins to blink, the mecanic told me it could be the oil pump, or the oil. since I bougth it used i decided it to chenge the oil pump. After changing the pump the same situation I cahnge the oil and put HD 40, the problem stopped on the last change of oil the problem started again.
What do i need to do?
thank you

The first question is.....have you been changing your oil every 8000km's? Sounds to me like you shold have you oil pressure tested

Yes I have had it checked the mecanic says it's ok, but when the ligth blinks he does see a small drop in presuure, that was why he recomend the oil pump change. What else could it be?
thank you for your help

Could be excessive engine bearings clearance.
