WOULD THE AIR FLOW METER CAUSE A CAR NOT TO RUN? I HAVE A 2005 MAZDA 3 WITH A 2.3 ENGINE. IT STARTS THEN SHUTS OFF RIGHT AWAY. THERE IS A CODE FOR THE AIR FLOW METER VOLTAGE HIGH. WOULD IT CAUSE THE CAR NOT TO RUN?

Yes, if it is bad enough it can prevent the car from running.
