2004 Other Mazda Model s door won't open

2004 Other Mazda Model s Engine Size unknown Wheel Drive Type unknown Automatic 70000 miles

2004 mazda6 2.3L 70,000k auto.

can't open the door from inside after unlocking the door behind driver side. i can open the door from outside though.

what could be the problem?

Hi there,

Part of the door lock may have failed. You will have to remove the door trim to access the lock to see if a lever has detached.
