2001 Other Mazda Models Car question

My Mazda auto sometimes dies when I stop at a stop light and sometimes when I slow down quickly to turn in somewhere. Is this a fuel filter problem?

Hi there,

Start wit a tune if not done in recent history, do the fuel filter and check that idle speed is to spec. Start here first.
