Engine Cooling problem
1989 Other Mazda Models 4 cyl Four Wheel Drive Manual

'89 b2600 it overheated today on my ride to work. Stopped at a light and it stalled, doesn't want to start again. Besides having to replace the cracked radiator anything else that may be a problem?Or why doesn't it start back up?

Check your oil and see if it is discolored. If it is, the head gasket probably blew when it overheated. If the oil is okay then disconnect your battery, wait 10 minutes then reconnect it and try again. If this fails as well then you may have warped the heads. A compression test and leak down test will be needed to further diagnose the issue.
