to start with, the blower motor does not work on #1 speed, 2&3 blow normal. My problem is the a/c compresor only runs when the fan switch is in the #1 possition where the blower motor don't work. When you turn the blower motor to the 2or3 speeds the a/c compresor tuns off. If you can help with any advise, it would be great. Thank you, ralph jones ps. It is a glc model madza

I have no wiring diagrams for that car. Try removing the switch and using a meter, be sure it has continuity (or power) through the switch in all settings. Sounds like it may be losing a connection in higher fan speed settings. Other than that, they ususally have a fan speed resistor in the HVAC box near the blower motor, but I couldnt see that making the a/c comp disengage. BTW. Does the a/c system have a full charge?
