2002 Mazda MX5 Car is bucking when foot off of gas...

I have a mazda miata mx5, 2002 year. Mechanic just installed new clutch and spark plugs and timing belt. Now when I drive the car and simply take foot off of gas the car bucks. What could be wrong? the guy who fixed my car is not sure

If the problem was not there before the timing belt change, I would suspect it has been installed out of sync.

Use a timing light to check the ignition timing, if it s far off the mark, you need to check the timing belt marks again.

If that is not the problem, I would like to understand more about the symptoms of the bucking. Bucking at various gears and speeds? Any excessive clearance of CV shaft ineer joints?
