1999 Mazda MX5 Manual 145000 miles

hi there if my radiator is loosing water would this cause the car to stutter when accelerating and make a noise like a back fire or would this be another problem aswell as the radiator

Your radiator will only leak fluid, unless it is spraying water on the electric system. It should be easy to see with the engine running. If water is getting on the ingination it will cause it to miss fire.
