2001 Mazda MPV driver's power window motor replacement

Need the steps to replace the window motor only, not the regulator which may be ok. Ii can remove door panel ok, but cannot disconnect motor from the regulator. Barry

I had to replace the one on my 93 MPV two months ago, faced the same problem. My mechanic changed and charged me less than 60 bucks. I could not figure out how to remove the motor either, but he is a former Ford mechanic and did it in a few minutes.
