We have been experiencing difficulty with we thought was our battery. After going through 3 batteries, finally we realized it had to be the alternator. Now we are trying very hard to remove it. It has been extremly difficult to get to and to remove. Still working on it...how the heck are we to remove & replace?

You probably wont like this.. Remove the front exhaust pipe and the axle and axle shaft bracket
