The 10 amp fuse that (according to the manual) is for "room" controls the auto door locks, radio and interior lights. It does not control the cigarette lighter or windows.
We have replaced this fuse over and over again. When we first noticed the problem and changed the fuse, it would last sometimes for weeks or just days. Now it usually will not last for even a day. The fuse seems to be blowing out when the car is turned off, never while it is running. We noticed that it seemed to happen more often when we had opened and closed the rear hatch door, so my husband disconnected the light in the door interior thinking that would help, but it did not. Sometimes when we replace the fuse, it blows out immediately.
Do you have any suggestions for this?
Thank you.
