1993 Mazda MPV 6 cyl Automatic 190000 miles

My '93 mazda mpv was starting fine, now it's been 3 days that is hard to start first time in the day; lights in dashboard looks strong so probably not battery...it makes a click and nothing else. After wiggling battery cables (they look tight) and re-trying (turn key) about 5 times it starts. After that there is no problem it re-starts everytime everywhere I go. The problem is only the first start of the day.

Try cleaning the battery posts and cables use petroleum jelly and then tightened it properly
