hi, i have a 91 mazda mpv. i had just had the transmission replaced and the car seemed to be driving fine, yet the car seems unable to shift into overdrive. any ideas of what could be causing this?

No OverDrive is the safety mode for an automatic transmission. This usually indicates a fault with the tranny. I suggest rechecking (or have the shop recheck) all wiring and sensors that were connected when installing new tranny.
