Engine Performance problem
1991 Mazda MPV 4 cyl Two Wheel Drive 160000 miles

The engine lost power I am getting spark on all cylinders the engine has a dead miss the owner replaced all plugs wires cap rotor and the distributor I ran the engine what I found was #3 cylinder isn't getting any fuel the owner has ohm the injectors he tell me they all read the same can you tell me what I need to check next

Hi there,

Thank you for the donation,

The injector can still be faulty even if it is powered up, listen for a click, place a long screwdriver on the injector and place you ear on the other end, you should heart the injector click when running.

We tried a new injector still nothing I am going to try noid lights to see if ther is a signal at the injector if ther is not what do I try next? I am going to check again for spark with a spark checker

Ok I put the noid lights and spark checker good spark no signal at the injector and I checked the noid light on another injector it checked good

Check continuity of injector wire (light green / black) to term U2 at ECU and wire (black / yellow) to main relay.
