1991 Mazda MPV Car Starts drives then stalls

My Van will start usually with no problem, Run and drive for a bit then Stall out and wont start for some time. I leave it to rest about half hour and come back to start it and it starts just fine. And before it shuts off a light on the dash comes on that looks somewhat like a pump or faucet of some sort. What would cause this?

I believe your are referring to the Check Engine Light, it should be an outline of an engine.

When the CEL shows, an error has been detected by the engine management system and you need to retrieve the trouble code to understand what is causing it.

Are you able to perform trouble code retrieval if instructions are provided?
