How do you replace the thermostat on a 2001 mazda millenia s? It is the supercharged version

Removal & Installation

Disconnect the negative battery cable. Remove ignition coil. Drain the engine coolant. Remove water inlet pipe (1). On A/T models, disconnect oil cooler. On all models, remove thermostat housing (2). Remove thermostat (3).
To install, reverse removal procedure. Verify that the jiggle pin is aligned with the projection on the thermostat gasket as shown. Install the thermostat into the thermostat case, aligning the projection on the gasket to the thermostat case as shown.
Tighten thermostat housing bolts to specification. See TORQUE SPECIFICATIONS . Fill and bleed cooling system. See COOLING SYSTEM BLEEDING .
