2002 Mazda Miata won't start

i was driving, my car just went dead, battery light came on. i thought it was the battery, i jiggled the connections, it started, happened again, nothing now. it tries to start but it acts like it is getting no gas. could this be a fuel filter/fuel pump issue?

yes it could be both of those plus an ignition issue(spark), you will need to check these. I will send some info on how to do it

thanks for the info, but being a woman and blonde, i took it to the mechanic, it was the battery and fuel pump..i am w/out a car for the weekend:(
