I know that I need a new catalytic converter, but will it hurt my car to drive it for a few days (about 60 miles/day) until it gets in?

Hi MECS,
When catalytic converters fails, usually the Check Engine Light would throw a code.
As long as the catalytic converter is not clogged, there is no harm in driving the vehicle.
