Transmission problem
1999 Mazda Miata Front Wheel Drive Manual 176000 miles

Engine is 1.5L. I was at traffic light and could not shift into any gear. Had no problem with clutch until that time. I checked the hydraulic fluid reservior and found it empty. I refilled it twice but the clutch remained on the floor. I looked underneath car and could see that fluid had run out. I could see no leak from the top of lines at reservior. Neither was there any leakage in garage where it had been parked previously. I replaced the slave cylinder about 2 years ago. What could my problem be and what will I need to do?
Thanks

You have a leak in the hydraulic system somewhere, either in the steel lines or rubber lines, or the MC/slave has a crack in it.
I would clean all the lines of oil and put a small amount of hydraulic oil in the MC and try to trace the problem area.
