aloha

1993 mazda with 229000 miles.

recently.....if car sits (overnite) or colder temperature (50's).....wont go into first or reverse or at least have to fight with shifter to get it into first or reverse. 2nd, 3rd, 4th, and 5th gear are tight as well but can get into gear.

once car warms up for a few or outside temperature is relatively warm, no problems at all. shifts just fine without any problems. no idea why termperature sees to be an issue - cold/dont want to work or very difficult at best....hot/works fine.

clutch is spongy as well.

ideas/suggestions before would be nice so i have a clue when i tiake it into a shop...unless it is something easy i can do.
