Can you please tell me why my Miata's engine is dying when I approach a stop light (decelerate)? If I shift to neutral the car doesn't die. This problem mainly happens when the car is not yet warmed up, but has happened a couple times when it was. It is a standard transmission, and I recently had a tune-up and fuel filter change. Thank you

Have you found the problem yet? It sounds to me like there might be some type of leak in your engine. Did you have a repair shop do the tune-up? They should have caught anything as obvious as that. I would ask the mechanics if they noticed anything.
