My miata, starting cold, runs perfectly for about 5 minutes then stalls. Let it sit for 20 mins it starts and runs perfectly for about a minute and then stalls. It does this routine like clockwork., time and time again. What is going on?

Check the fuel pressure to rule out the fuel filter and a failing fuel pump.
