1994 Mazda b4000 Starter and Solenoid

1994 Mazda b4000 6 cyl Four Wheel Drive Automatic

I hve changed the starter and solenoid already. We got it to crank but the wires melted again from the solenoid to the starter and now all we can get it to do is click. What can we do to get this truck to run again?

Check if the red and lite blue wire at the starter relay is shorting to ground
