Is it really nessary to remove the exsaust system to remove the transmisson on a 1998 3.0 l engine 5 speed manual?

Hi there,

Mitchell 1 makes reference to removing exhaust components as necessary for easy access, so just remove what you feel is i the way, don't drop the entire exhaust.
