Hi, we recently blew the head gasket, the engine got pretty hot.
We got the head repaired and put it all back together with a new timing chain, timed it all up according to the marks.
We tried to start it however it cranks for a while and then when you adjust the distributor full advance and full retard it decides to fire and starts, it runs fast at 2000rpm. It runs smoothly and all is good, it even drives the best I have ever seen it.
But when you turn it off it just wont start, it smells like it is flooding and the spark plugs et fouled quickly. I am suspecting that some sensor has been damaged by the heat but I cant seem to get me head around it.
Please help
