My 2000 Mazda B2500 truck will occasionally not start. It happened 3 times now - today is the latest....Twice I remeber it being hot outside but not the other time. I have changed ingition coils and plugs as part of a diagnostic means to get to the problem. That did not resolve it as it was fine for 3 months then happned again...fine for 2 months then happened today... I am so frustrated I cannot figure out the problem......Any ideas ? ......I see lots of questions on this on the net for Mzda and Ranger trucks but answers seem to be all over the place.

Truck shakes violently and does not start after being prefectly fine ..........

Hi adamfa,

Thank you for the donation.

When engine could not be started, you need to test/check what is missing causing the non starting. If it is fuel, then you would have to check the fuel pressure and injectors. A bad Engine Coolant Temperature sensor would cause hard or non starting as well as it could be flooding or starving the fuel supply.

To get an idea what to look out for, click the " First things To Check " link at bottom of post.
