Transmission problem
1991 Mazda b2200 4 cyl Two Wheel Drive Automatic

hello i have a mazda b2200 im not exactly sure what the year is i just got it. but when u start it up it runs fine and idles fine but when you put it into any gear it goes into gear but automaticly dies right after. im not sure whats wrong with it can u guys help? thanks

Is it a carbuerated or fuel injected engine? You can start by checking the ignition timing and curb idle speed
