i just changed plugs, wires, cap, rotor, air filter and oil. just got back from 200 mile trip with no issues. Drove into town the other day and filled up fuel, no prob. drove into town last night and it started spuddering goin up a usual hill, i was on way to parts store and a couple people suggests it could be a fuel pump going. it does not act as if it is not getting fuel. also it backfires, (pre tune up, as well as now) any opinions from you?. also is my fuel pump in gas tank or exterior?? thank you.

Hi there,

I would be checking the fuel pressure & changing the fuel filter if this was not done with the tune, the fuel pump is an internal pump (in the tank) also re check timing and check for any vacuum leaks, run a scan to check for any unresolved fault codes as well, start here.
