1988 Mazda b2200 front crankshaft seal

My front crankshaft seal is leaking. I am down to removing the crankshaft gear off the crankshaft. i have a gear puller, but the gear will not come move off the shaft. Any ideas?

Heat it up with a small blow torch it'll loosen up BTDT
