I bought a mazda b2200 a few months ago and started it up, it will run but not very good, it blows blue smoke and does not have very high RPM's, I have replace the water pump, head gasket, put new plugs in and still the same problem, a rough idle at low rpm's. When it does run, when I took the EGR valve off it was packed with black sook so I cleaned it out and it made no difference. I dont know what is wrong with it. I like the site.

Hi bulldog102ds and welcome to 2carpros

it blows blue smoke: it means its burning oil in the cylinders

The combustion chamber is leaking could be valves or rings-cylinder wear if this is happening it will not run right-it has to be repaired to produce the correct engine compression

So why was my EGR valve filled with that black soot?
