I've unfastened the two bolts which connect two metal tubes between the carburetor and the exhaust pipe, and there is a third metal carb tube connected to the top of the exhaust manifold that leads to four smaller tubes.
Unfastening the nuts for these small metal tubes doesn't seem to loosen anything, and a wrench won't fit to reach the inner nuts positioned underneath the heat shield on each metal tube.
It doesn't appear possible to remove the heat shield without first removing the metal tubes, and this is the problem I'm encountering. This part is not described in the manual, and I'm not sure how to proceed.
