Computer problem
1996 Mazda b2000

I have a 1996 B series mazda truck and I also have the the Chilton's Repair manual for it.I need to read the Diagnostic trouble codes (DTC's).To read the DTC's the test connector for the electronic engine control system must be used. The data link connector (DLC).In the manual it says on 1996-98 vehicles the DCL is located in the passenger compartment under the driver side dashboard. That doesn't make sense to me.Can anyone tell me exactly where it is located on or in my truck?
