can the auto choke on the mazda 929 - 1988
be disabled, the idle when the car is cold fluctuates between 1000 to 2000 rpm and i cant drive the car until it has reached operating tempurature whe the idle drops to 700 rpm

Adjust it with the engine warmed up, then if you still have problems we will check for codes, Is the check engine light on? TUNE-UP - V6 -1988 Mazda 929 Page 1 of 1 IDLE SPEED 1.Switch off all accessories. Set parking brake and block drive wheels. Connect tachometer to engine. Warm engine to normal operating temperature. 2.Connect a jumper wire between test connector and ground. See Fig. 3 . Adjust idle speed to specification by turning throttle adjusting screw.
