Car shakes when accelerating

I have a 93 Mazda 626, 5 speed. It has had a new fuel pump, distributor, and axels in the last year. The day after my axel was fixed it started to shake when accelerating. It is much worse when going uphill. I am afraid it is the transmission as it has slipped out of 5th a couple times. Does one relate to the other or could they be 2 separate things. I also thought the shaking might be from the axel repair needing an adjustment. Any ideas?

Is the shaking coming from the engine or more to the sides of the front end. At night start the car and look under the hood at the plug wires and see if you can see little flashes coming off them possibly arcing to the valve cover or something also check the ignition coil wire. You just might need to replace the wires. Good luck :)
