abs light and traction light stays on

hi i need to know what to do because i have a 99 mazda 626, 6 cyclinder 2.5 and my abs and traction light stays on i had a diagnostic done says its the right rear wheel speed sensor thats doing what do you recommend to do befor3e this mechanic get me for doing a whole lot of stuff that not needed and money i dont have to put out he did the first diagnostics found out that then want to charge me again to see why the sensor went bad i just want it fixed because it worry me!

Sometimes the sensors just go bad for no real reason.Unless it has some kind of wiring damage or the ABS controller is having a problem seeing that wheel, I would just install a sensor first and see what happens
